| Throughout this course, I have found myself asking: What IS Indian? Is it the image to the right? But if we try and grasp that image, our perception becomes something else. Non-Indians are forever trying to capture Indianness, to make it their/our own. The only thing standing in the way is the actual Indians themselves. |
