Visit or email the Chair or Associate Chair if you have questions or concerns about Department policies or issues in your classroom or with particular students. The Associate Chair reviews grade disputes and participates in the syllabus review and is available to instructors who have questions about these processes.
Jamie Duke and Holly Schwadron can help you with various practical course issues, including text book questions or orders, course documentation, department policy questions, room changes, and adding or dropping students.
The Assistant Directors in the DRW are here to support you as you prepare and teach your course. If you have concerns about students (personal or academic) or questions about developing assignments, classroom activity, or any other concerns about teaching, feel free to stop by their office to discuss these issues with them. The ADs also have a formal process for mediating plagiarism cases in the classroom. If you suspect one of your students is plagiarizing, please talk to one of the DRW ADs and they will help you proceed according to Department guidelines.
