Accessibility at the CWRL

At the CWRL, we take web accessibility seriously: all pages hosted on our domain have to follow UT's accessibility guidelines. At the same time, we are committed to providing plenty of support to staffers and instructors who want to build websites but who are not sure about how to make them accessible.

ITS periodically scans the entire CWRL domain (cwrl.utexas.edu) with WebXM to find accessibility issues. We strongly suggest that you use an accessibility checker to check your pages as soon as you create them.

Some accessibility checkers are:

- Watchfire WebXAct
- AChecker
- Cynthia Says

Below, we discuss some of the components of the CWRL's accessibility efforts and policy.
