Most of the poems are from the 1975 collection North. These include: "Bog Queen," "The Grauballe Man," "Punishment," and "Strange Fruit." From this collection I also included the allegorical "Act of Union" and excerpts from the long poems "Kinship" and "Bone Dreams." I also included "Bogland," from Door Into the Dark (1969), and "The Tollund Man," from Wintering Out (1972). All of these poems are included in the collection Poems 1965-1975.
