Then comment on his assertion that religious belief and scientific belief are incompatible (he says this on page 84 of the course reader). Do you agree? (If you are having trouble thinking of something to say about his assertion, perhaps ask yourself, What must we assume about religion and about science before we can conclude that they are "not factually compatible"?
