I am going to rewrite the ending to the movie The Natural, staring Robert Redford. Instead of the traditional "Hollywood" ending where the protagonist overcomes the odds and prevails in the end, the protagonist will fall in a downward spiral until he has lost everything.

i decided to rewrite the begining rather than the end. I thought if i rewrote the ending it would be difficult to explain everything that had happened previously.

i am doing the college version of daved and confused. I am adapting it to be college freshman being initiated into a Greeek life, and the scene that i am doing is the freshman in high school getting trashed by the seniors.

Im thinking of rewriting a certain section of a Taiwanese Soap opera 'It Started With A Kiss'. I am working on a few ideas.

I'm not exactly sure what I'm going to use as my original because I have several ideas, but I have a main theme that would be incorporated into a movie or book; as time has progressed, I think humans have become more greedy and motivated only for self-gain as opposed to the past. In order to depict this, I want to change something written in the past and add this modern-day trait to one of the characters, causing a completely different outcome. By having the ending be a direct result of the development of avarice, it will hopefully explicate the vices of today's society. This somewhat links into my essay on Marie Antoinette because she was essentially brought down by her own country because of her self-indulgence and disregard for her people.

edit: I eventually decided to rewrite a scene in J.D. Salinger's The Catcher in the Rye. A main theme in this book is the rejection of "phoniness" by Holden Caulfield, the protagonist; he dislikes all people who put on a guise, something that most people do on a daily basis. If Holden were to possess the same qualities as the people whom he loathes, the story would have an entirely different turnout.

Ill be re-writing the ending to Armageddon. Im not quite sure if i im going to change the success of the attempt to stop the meteor, if a character dies, or which characters die if some die. Hopefully whichever ending i choose can have a greater impact on the audience without losing too much of the "hollywood" effect bruce willis's death had.

I'm going to write my paper on the movie Braveheart. I'm going to alter the ending a bit. Instead of the fearless William Wallace dying, I'm going to let him live and take over the entire country of England, and then maybe even the world lol. I'm not sure yet, but Braveheart is going to be my topic.

I was going to do a more modern version of the scarlet letter. For those who didn't have to read it in high school, the book is about a woman who bears and raises an illegitimate child, and won't tell anyone who the father is. i'm not really sure specifically which scene i'm going to rewrite yet. i want to do either the beginning or the end.

For my third paper I am going to write an alternate ending to The Stranger, by Albert Camus. The novel looks at the absurdism of life and predictably reaches the conclusion that life is meaningless. As the plot develops, the main character Meursault is sentenced to death for murder. By the end of the novel the reader does not know if Meursault is executed or not, although it can be inferred that he is indeed beheaded. In my opinion the death scene was not included in the novel because Camus wanted to make a statement about the pointlessness of life. My hope is to create a death scene that holds true to the absurdist motif that made the work so revolutionary.

I am going to add another scene onto the end of the movie Zoolander with Ben Stiller, Owen Wilson and Will Farrel. Will Farrel's character, Mugatu, was arrested for attempting to assassinate the prime minister of Malaysia. I want to show what happens to Mugatu while he is in a federal prison, with other criminals. and show just what sort of trouble he can get in there.

I plan to do my own adaptation of a Hiroshige print, but do it differently than van Gogh did. He used oil paint, while I will probably use guache. The japanese lettering I use will be symbolic of more modern ideas. My analysis will address the changes i make to the image and message of the print.

I am changing the general synopsis of the Disney movie Beauty and The Beast. Specifically I am focusing on the relationship between Belle and The Beast and how the relationship is kindled. In my modern adaptation, I am creating the beast to be a innocent man in jail and Belle is the witness do to the crime that he did not commit. Just some ideas still...

I'm doing a film adaptation of T.S. Eliot's poem called "The Lovesong of J. Alfred Prufrock". I'm writing a screenplay based in modern society. The whole poem is a monologue, but the reader doesn't know who he is talking to specifically. I'm going to write the end of the film, where he is telling the woman he is friends with that he has fallen in love with her and tell how she reacts.

I plan on rewriting a section of Pat Conroy's The Great Santini. I will attempt to create a more in depth look at the characters because as good as the book is, it feels like the author leaves a lot of loose ends by the end of the story. Considering the main character is always under the watchful eye of his Marine father, I thought I could shed a little more light on the situation; in turn providing a little more sympathy for everyone involved.

I plan on changing the beginning of the very first episode of Grey's Anatomy. Since I'm a big fan of the show, I just plan on changing the way some characters are introduced. If I change my mind, then I'm going to change the end of a movie, not sure which one yet, but I have a few ideas.

I am going to use the Mighty Ducks as a way that children are not always open to new kids. Adam Banks comes to the Ducks from the Hawks, and is supposidly the best player in the league, but the children from the Ducks do not accept him, and Banks has to prove himself. I am going to give another description of how children can be inadvertantly rude, causing dysfunction within schools and growing up in general.
