Hey! My name is Mary. I'm a junior majoring in Advertising Interactive, minoring in Business Foundations. I'm currently working as a marketing and communications intern at a company producing a complete 'clinical digital solution.' I'm interested in not only learning more of what cyberculture entails but definitely working on my website-writing capabilities. I'm also a huge independent film and music lover. You can find me listening to anything from classic rock, new age, dance... to even some hip-hop and country, but I'm definitely an acoustic junkie.

Hi, my name is Martin Leitch and I’m a Communications major. My most relevant experience for this class comes from having been in the computer industry since 1981. During the dot-com bust I worked for small linguistics software company that was based in the Palo Alto Research Center. They have some very cool products for knowledge management. Check them out at www.inxight.com. I grew up in England (near London) but that by no means makes me an expert on the language, noah-ameen (know-what-I-mean). Here to become cultured.

Hiya, my name is Stephen. I am a junior English major with a minor in STS. My interests related to this course include writing, and a general interest in the subject matter - how humans have shaped and are shaped by such a unique culture as "cyberculture". Not to mention the credit. Otherwise, my interests include drawing, animation, and music.

I am also pre-med, and would like to become a general surgeon. I am interested in technology in general, especially convergent devices, mountain and road biking, watching documentaries and independent films, creating visual effects / doing post-production for self-produced short films, and listening to house music on vinyl.

Hi, I'm Jeremy. I'm a junior English/Philosophy double major. This is my first semester back in school after an illness kept me out for four semesters, so I'm happy to be here. I'm particularly interested in philosophies of language/mind, which is a part of why I'm fascinated by the Internet. Somewhere between now and my graduation I plan to decide whether I want to carry on with philosophy at the graduate level or teach English for a while.
