2/15: Classroom Pilot Begins
2/22: Meeting & Report on Progress of Classroom Pilot
3/1: Report on Progress of Software Documentation Customized for UT
3/8:
3/8 Get Mac instructions from group and PRACTICE:
- Noah: initial logon instructions
- Zach: teleport
- shout
- choose friends
- Misc. instructions: how to do the tutorial; other things might want to try
(3/13-18: Spring Break)
3/20 Day 1: explain:
- have students set up accounts out of class (might have to do in Parlin labs if can't download SecondLife to computers
- set up names for everybody
- half one type of name, half the other type (on diff. sides of argument)
- out of class: students set up accounts

3/22: Meeting & Report on Progress of Training Exercises

3/22 Day 2: end of class work with people with problems
- assign three arguers
- out of class assg.: add the three arguers as friends
- go to particular coordinates
3/24 Day 3: in-class exercise
- role-playing
- use experiences that haven’t really had
- make arguments that maybe don’t necessarily believe
- voting
- who was best arguer of the three?
- then, those two shout out arguments
- then whole class votes on who made best argument
- reward by saying that can skip two microthemes over course of rest of semester.
