5 Questions for the Blanton Webmaster

1. Who is your target audience- including age groups, etc.?
2. What/how do you want your web users to feel & think about the new website? Do you want the site to be more formal or informal regarding how the information is presented? What kind of information?
3. How frequently do you anticipate having to update your site?
4. How much traffic do you anticipate?
5. Hwo much content do you intend to have- i.e. all past exhibits? archives?

2/12 have communication brief completed (all- broken up)
2/14 site map of current blanton page completed (Jessica)
2/16 audit methodology completed (Mo and Clay)
2/18 site map w/ new, proposed structure completed (Anna)
2/20 content delivery plan completed (Lindsay & Alfonso)
2/21 have all components published online

i wont be able to meet in person, but i will be online for quite some time today. not sure how aim works, but i've signed on so i can chat with you all online. (i don't have anyone else's screename except for jessica and lindsay)...how do you add people because i'm not sure that i'm doing it right?

making the timeline

i think it is a great idea to get this done online...it shouldn't take that long, especially since jessica took it upon herself to get a rough draft in order...thanks by the way, that is so awesome! my aim name is "lilinzzi" - still need screen names for anna, mo, and clay.

Schedule

Hey guys, I'm available Monday through thursday after 3:30, that's when I get through with classes. I am available all day Friday except from 1230 to 230 but I need to know by Thursday night if we need to meet on Fridays.

Jessica, I think that's awesome that you have a rough draft for who's gonna do what. I'll go ahead and email everyone to see if we can meet today at campus or online.

Here's my class schedule
Monday- 9:30-12
Tues.- 8-9, 10-12, 2-330
Wed.- 11-12
Thurs.- 8-9, 10-12, 2-330
Friday- 11-12

MWF are probably my best days to get together during the day, but other than that I can get on AIM at night later today (i also will be studying for a test that i have tomorrow).

Schedule

Monday, Wednesday, Friday: after 2
Tuesday: after 3:30
Thursday: after 7:30
Saturday, Sunday: free

Those are when my classes end but my work schedule varies every week so I usually work weekends and a couple days during the week. I think we should probably meet up on aim tonight, possibly sometime after 9 (I have a test from 7:30-9).

some quick thoughts about the agenda & timeline

I just skimmed over the assignment & due dates & wrote up a rough draft of how we could divide up duties. Can we all try to get together some time tonight to hammer everything out? How about 8:30? Would you all like to get on AIM or meet somewhere near campus?

Wed- internship 10-3
Thurs- class 10-11; 12:30-5
Fri- internship 10-3
I can do weekends as well.

My schedule & availability

Hey group! Here's my schedule:

Monday-- Generally free except from 4-6 pm
Tuesday-- Class 11-12:15 & 2-5:30
Wednesday-- Generally free after 10 am
Thursday-- Class 11-12:15 & 2-5:30
Friday-- Work 1:30-7
Saturday-- Work 9:30-4
Sunday--Generally free

I can meet up any time that I am not working or in class. However, I am doing an internship & volunteering around campus a lot in my "generally free" time slots. These times are subject to change depending on what's going on that week. Times/days I know I will be unavailable (at least in person) are:
Thursday 2/9 8-5, Sunday 2/12 11am-3pm, Thursday-Saturday 2/16-2/18 all day, Monday 2/27 8:30-10 am.

Scedule

Here is my schedule for times I am available to work:
Monday-- I get out of class at 2. No lacrosse mondays
Tuesday-- Class ends at 430. Lacrosse from 6-8.
Wednesday-- Class ends at 2. Lacrosse from 6-8.
Thursday-- Class ends at 430. Lacrosse from 6-8
Friday-- Class ends at 2. Lacrosse from 6-8.
Weekends vary if I have game scheduled or not. Aside from that I am free on weekends.
