My group presented on Arab and Arab American student groups on campus. We covered four different genres: social (Arab Students Association), religious (Muslim Students Association), political (Palestine Solidarity Committee), and professional (National Arab American Journalists Association). I presented on NAAJA and its impact on Arab students and campus as a whole.

Our group may be researching the Arabic Bazaar and its many different elements including exoticism as a product. Or we may specifically research belly dancing and its origins, ties to Islam, and its different forms.

I'm also with the group assessing Arabic foods. I will be working on Phoenicia Bakery and Deli or Marakesh restaurant (since I like to eat, I'll go to both and see which one I like more).
