About MOOs and other Interactive Environments
MOOs, MUDs, and MUSHes are text-based and (in some cases) multimedia virtual
reality worlds, constructed online collaboratively through the efforts of many
people. In these environments you can explore spaces created by participants,
interact with other participants, chat, and create places, characters, and objects
of your own. You can find more information at http://www.cwrl.utexas.edu/moo,
the CWRL Web site, and at the Web site for Cheshire MOOn http://www.cwrl.utexas.edu/moo/cheshire,
the CWRL's MOO environment. LinguaMOO
is an excellent MOO accessible from the Web.
