The Littlefield Home is a typical American Victorian
architecture.
It is located at 24th st. and Whitis, on the campus of the University
of Texas at Austin. It was built for Mayor George Washington
Littlefield by James W. Wahrenburg, an architect, in 1893.
Mayor Littlefield spent $50,000 (excluding interior decorations)
on
building this house as testimony to importance he placed on
material wealth.
