Denver, Colorado
During the summer of my freshman year at
UT, I traveled to Denver, Colorado. I remember looking out the window in the plane and seeing the Rocky Mountains. I think that was the first time I saw them in person. It was even more amazing going around the city of Denver with the mountains in the background. I grew up in Texas, so I never saw any mountains. The view seemed unreal. It was a sight to see, a city and the mountains together.
