This is a drawing of a garden in the Granada, Spain. I took a picture of it first and drew it later on for my Nature Writing class. I tried to capture the beauty of the garden as a whole and not in details.

The picture was difficult to draw at first since I haven't started drawing in years. My left and right brain worked together and struggled with each other as I drew. My right brain, the artist, wanted to forget about the lines and shapes. I first thought about making this sort of an abstract art to where you can only recognize parts of it. My left brain, the analytic, wanted to draw it just as I saw it. I finally decided that I would do a little of both and came out with the drawing above. I hope you enjoy it!
