Me in Avebury,England
There's something about Nature that compels people to flock to such places as the Grand Canyon; Thoreau to write Walden; Smetana to compose Die Moldau; Monet to paint his garden at Giverny, and directors to fill their movies with images of her. In a sense, Nature is the Universal Being. Everyone knows that she exists (there's proof all around you) and everyone, whether good or bad, has had an experience with her.
This site is dedicated to my experience with nature, not only through the physical environment, but also through such media as music, literature, movies, and paintings. Below, you'll find areas marked "JOURNAL" and "JOURNEY." "JOURNAL" will bring you to my journal entries responding to nature through observation and readings. "JOURNEY" tracks my experiences with nature through the different media listed above.
I hope that you enjoy this site and that it inspires you to live your life with open arms to the world that so openly welcomed you.
