Man Imitating Nature
Man has been imitating Nature since we don't know when. It almost seems like the more we get away from Nature and
lose touch with it, the stronger our need to imitate it becomes. We create our own artificial versions of Nature
to replace the real one that we "just don't have time to see." I suppose we should laugh at the idea of an
artificially created "Nature", but sometimes that is all we have. What we need to remember; however, is that
the imitations we create can never be a true substitution for the real thing. While it might be soothing to listen to
a "Nature CD" we still need to make the time to get out and see the real Nature around us at every opportunity.

All of these are from the Solitudes "Soothing Music" Web Page. All credit and kudos go to them. All of the music
is available for purchase. If you would like to take a look their web page is:

Also these sound files are Real Audio. So, if you don't have a RA player you'll need to get it.

Man Imitates the Look of Nature
Notre Dame with all its loops, crevices, and many carvings always reminds me of Nature. Like in Nature, there are
hundreds of different things overlapping and diverging, running hither and thither, but it has an order and a structure
underneath. It is deceptively chaotic.
