Willie Tichenor

Willie Tichenor, a Plan II Honors first-year student, passed away on Wednesday, March 15, 2006, after a three-year battle with osteosarcoma.    - Plan II Newsletter

Willie was a student with us in Professor Bump's World Literature class. Sometimes he'd miss days, but we didn't know why for sure until Willie took a turn for the worse. When had to go home, we sent him a gift box as a class. For my contribution, I made a postcard by taking a class picture, from a day when Willie had been absent, and photoshopping Willie into it. On the back, I wrote "Wish You Were Here."
