Captain's Log - May 1998
Children's World
Frostwood Elementary
The picture on the left shows my daycare center from the time when I was 9 months old until I was out of elementary school, Children's World Learning Center. I have a lot of memories from this place, from the window ledge where I would wait every afternoon for my mother to come pick me up, to the coat and back pack hangers underneath the shelves that I used to hang myself by. The whole place was made for little kids - it was comfortable. I flourished in this environment, making close friends with the kids I saw day in and day out.

The picture on the right shows Frostwood Elementary School. Who wouldn't want to go back to first or second grade? Like my daycare, everything was my size, and recess was the perfect time and place for adventures and make-believe. I felt very safe and at home here.
