THE DAY I WAS BORN

I was born in June 7, 1986 in Starr County Memorial Hospital. According to the doctors my heart was not functioning properly and my immune system was very weak. The doctors were not very sure that I was going to live very long so they were just waiting for the worst to happen.   My mom Rosa and my father Beto were so devastated but never lost faith in God. I was out the following week but my parents knew that my immune system was very weak that my body couldn’t resist the environment I was living in.

City of Roma

This is that city of Roma, TX.  I have grown and share all of my experience in Roma. I remember working in an organization known as Los Caminos Del Rio. If it wasn’t for that organization we wouldn’t have a museum. Thanks to the group of people working in Los Caminos Del Rio we have save many important artifacts that are very important in our history.  Roma has a great amount of history. Roma’s early history is rooted in the Spanish colonial period. In 1746, José de Escandón received permission from the Spanish Crown to colonize Nuevo Santander, which extended from the Sierra Madre Oriental to the Gulf of México and from the rainforest of Tamaulipas northward beyond the Rio Grande.

The Rise Of A Miracle

In December 1, 1988 my little brother Julio was born. The same day my little brother was born I was in a very terrible crisis.  My muscles were not growing and my heart was pumping very slow that I had difficult time breathing.  My mom noticed that I wasn’t eating and that I was losing pounds very dramatically. She took me to the hospital and Dr Gonzalez told her that it was too late.  By the time the doctors where going to do an open heart surgery my heart stopped and it was to late I had already died. Dr. Gonzalez got close to where my mom was and told her that I was in a much better place and that he tried everything to save my life. My mom knew that this was going to happen sooner or later. The doctors were about to remove all the machines when suddenly my heart started pumping and as I woke up I started crying. Doctors from all over Starr County couldn’t believe that my heart was working properly and that I had a much stronger immune system. The doctors couldn’t form any hypothesis about my stage all they knew was that a miracle was born.
