I was born in Pakistan on the 26th of December 1983, and moved to Canada when I was five or six. I enjoyed it for the
few years we were there because I would play in the snow with my elder brother and sister. At the time, I really felt that
was the place for me! I remember the students adoring my drawings of houses, trees, and ninja turtles while being surrounded
at the table as I doodled. The snow made me think about where
it was coming from because I did not understand the concept of precipitation.
We then moved to Houston, where it did not take long for me to get accustomed. I have lived in Houston most of my life now, and just last summer we went on a trip to Canada. In the airplane, everything looked so small from up above and it made me wonder how huge the world is compared to our tiny selves. I knew that grass, trees, and water take up a considerable amount of the earth but here, I could actually see it. I obtained thoughts of whether nature could be differently approached while in another country, but I was wrong. Nature is nature, wherever you are. I believe this because the sun we see here is the same sun in Montreal, Sweden, or even China! The approach is the same; just the location and scenes are different. This could be looked upon as the clothes we wear. Clothes are there to keep you warm, but the clothes of America may slightly be distinct from the clothes of Russia because of just a difference in style.
