I did not even look at the turtles when I was there, so I am glad you did. I suppose that competition on the rock was a lot like a "survival of the fittest" game. I remember when I used to play "King of the Hill" with my brothers and sisters. It sounds an awful lot like the activity the turtles were doing. I suppose that even though humans no longer live by the theory of "survival of the fittest" (i.e because of medicine and doctors, almost everybody can survive), we still play those games and have those "animal" competitions because of our background.
