I am glad you resisted the temptation to pick up the leaf. Humans are always trying to interfere with natural selection. Not only for themselves, but for all the other creatures around them. We kill and create based only on our judgements. We are constantly interfering with the landscape that surrounds us, until it belongs to nobody but humans. Created to become what humans want it to be. It does not seem fair. The less we interfere with the natural environments around us, perhaps the better off we will be. Good job. I enjoyed reading your essay.
