The Mustangs
We mad several stops last week on the 2nd of March. One of them was at the statue of the Mustangs. This statue is at the very base of the Texas Memorial Museum. There are seven mustangs running. They represent victory and power in the conquest of Mexico.(I think that’s what they inscription said) Just looking at them, you can see their boldness and strength. "His fame passed from the mortality of the bounded and aging to the immortality of the legended." I know this quote is for the Pacing White Stallion but I think you can apply it to the Mustangs. They helped win many battles. The inscription also said something like, asides from God, we owe our victory to the mustangs.
