My favorite quote is from Mustangs, by Dobie, on page 305. He states "no one who conceives him as only a potential servant to man can apprehend the mustang. The true conceiver must be a true lover of freedom-a person who yearsm to extend freedom to all life. Mustangs, just as human beings deserve to be free. They are beuatiful living creatures, who should be treated that way!

My other quote is from Mustangs, by Dobie, on page 301. He states here that "the earth does not think and does not care what people think, but it gives and takes with undeviating justice and it remembers." Wow, those words really get your mind thinking and contemplating over the real meaning. I feel that Dobie is saying that earth knows she is being destroyed, yet she chooses not to think about that fact. She also could care less about what others think about her, which is a very admirable trait to have. All the while earth doesn't care, she remembers everything and she will not forget.
