Littlefield Tree

Littlefield Tree Wouldn't it be nice to stay tall watch the world as it goes by and enjoy the simple things in life...worry-free. I can only imagine that that's the way the tree feels as I sit on the surrounding brick wall and draw the Littlefield tree, trying to capture its beauty and its nature. I sit here, watching and observing the hanging arms of such an enormous creature. I couldn't help but notice the extending branches hanging so low to the ground that the two almost touched. I start to realize that the impression that we get from these beauties may be misunderstood. The creature no longer seemed to be worry-free to me as it did the first time I saw it. Instead it the tree looks saddened as it watched the world go by. Upset at all that it has seen. I can't imagine how many years it has stood there in the same spot and all the things it has experienced. I assure you that from this moment on, my life and my worries no longer seemed to matter as they disappeared from the face of the earth.
