I understand your concern that when you writing about instead of drawing the Littlefield Pine, you become the center of attention. Of course the purpose of the exercise is to focus on the tree, but I hardly think that this can be done properly by focusing on the tree alone. No creation exists in a vaccuum. I think that self-evaluation of your possible responses is just as vital a part of writing as the physical features of the tree. The tree, after all, exists with us and thus our thoughts reflect our relationship with it. How could this relationship be any less important that the object itself?Return to Discussion Forum Index
