David- Wow, I had no idea that you were married or an accomplished hunter. Poems always reveal the most interesting things about people. I did get a little confused with some of the words that you used. I am not a hunter so I don't know what ATV's or eight and ten points or spikes are. I think you should some how add in what they are. I also think that you could add some more detail about how nature effected you and what your surronding looked like. I thought you had some good adjectives such as "shiver" and "burst." I also liked the ending!
