I thought your description of the railroad walk was good. You described many things in nature that you saw but never really stated how these things effected you if they did at all. Also you said you and your brothers used to walk in the woods so you might want to add something about one of those trips and compare it to your rairoad walk. I liked your story though and it kept the reader's interest.
