Waller Creek The creek seemed so graceful and at peace. Maybe because it is encompassed in nature and has so much history. The fact that people fought for the nature around Waller Creek and the creek itself makes the experience of looking and observing it seems more meaningful. I bet the water is cold because of the season but I bet the wild life that lives within feels right at home. I wonder what it would be like to live inside the creek and experience what the creek does. The movement, the nature, the wind and air, and the tradition and history that surrounds the creek. It feels so nice today, it is hard to believe that it is February. I wonder if the creek had feelings would it know the differences between the seasons and if it is warm or not. The way that the water would feel would be the only clue it would have. That is if it could feel. It seems so relaxing out here with the creek in sight and the beautiful day. It would be hard to stay inside on a day like this one. Imagine it being like this all the time, that would be awesome. I think I will take this time to just look for a while. The sight reminds me of a place I grew up next to. At my grandparents ranch, where I would run along side a creek that was so peaceful and comfortable to me. This spot right now reminds me of the child like youthfulness that I was raised with. The water running down in constant motion puts a smile on my face of fond memories that I miss. My understanding of this creek is composed not of just this creek but of the pictures I have of long ago.
