Waller Creek

In the midst if this city exists this small haven of peace. All who choose to come and relax are welcome here. It is really nice out here. The day is wonderful and the temperature is almost perfect. There are trees along the side of the creek that stand tall and strong, like sentries guarding this inner sanctum. The sunlight easily makes its way through the branches that creep over the creek. It falls upon the water with utmost grace. The water glides smoothly over the rocks in the creekbed showing the texture of the rocks. The water seems to flow faster through the rocks that are close together. It seems to slow down in the open spaces. As if it's gathering its strength to go fast again. I can't seem to gather my thoughts. It's apparent that my writing is terrible and I am finding it hard to be consistent with my words. I mean, everything is so beautiful out here and I have nothing in my head to describe it with. I did, however, witness Professor Bump feeding a squirrel. With a very accurate throw, he landed what seemed to be a cheese cracker right beside the little creature. The squirrel quickly took it in its mouth and sat on a little stump and began to eat it there.
