Liz, it really is amazing and intriging to think that one little event could have totally and completely altered our lives. But isn't that something that you don't want to think about? It is like always wondering if things would be better if you had done something else. That is kinda sad to think about, but it is kind of neat to think about too. I really liked your essay and how much you made me realize that the events of the past really do shape our lives and connect us to one another.
