Waller Creek - Unity

Unity hmm. . . I guess looking at good old Waller Creek makes me feel unified with alot of things. Mostly with nature. Like this creek, the trees, the squirles. We are all creatures of nature. Oh look at those ducks, how cute. All of us being creatures created by God we should all be so peaceful and get along. Instead humans destroy and minupulate all that God has blessed us with. the past semester I have been out in nature more than since I was young. I mean I haven't spent this much time in nature since I was young. Sure I go outsied and swim or something, but rarely do I ever go out in nature to do nothing but think. It makes me realize that it is totally natural for me to be here and for me to enjoy it. Goodness this rock is uncomfterable. Ouch! This is the first time I have ever just wanted to sit here and do nothing, not write, not think, just sit. Usually I try to write enough as fast as I can and then leave, but now I just want to sit. Maybe I'm tried, maybe I'm stressed, whatever. Anyway, back to UNITY. I'm totally distractedby these thesbians practing their play thing . . . "OUR WHOLE KNOWLEDGE OF THE WORLD IS SELF-KNOWLEDGE. FOR KNOWING IS A TRANSLATION OF EXTERNAL EVENTS INTO BODILY PROCESSES." Beautiful, but what does it mean? Does it mean that everything we know about the world and all that is in it, we ultimately taught ourselves? I can kindof agree with that. The aspects and ideas can be put into our brainss, but we learn them in our own individual ways. Otherwise we could be fullt educated by a very young age just by people showing us the basic concepts of things taught in school. Why do ducks jerk their necks so hard? It makes my neck hurt. All that I learn from other people, ultimately is about myself and my character. Things that are obvious to everyone but me. MC BETH. The play people are doing MCBETH. "ONE OF THE MOST REMARKABLE INTUITIONS IN WESTERN THOUGHT WAS THAT OF ROUSSEAU'S NOBEL SAVAGE: THE IDEA THAT PERHAPS CIVILIZATION HAS SOMETHING TO LEARN FROMTHE PRIMITIVE." I totally agree with that. I'm not sure what it has to do with unity, but it's in the reading and I believe it. I am sure there are htings out there that we, civilized people, do not know. Even if it is some little thing about farming or how to grow a certian plant. But maybe we could take that plant and use it to find a cure to cancer or use it as a vacine for AIDS. I honestly think that there is acure out there for every diease or illness right down to the common cold, we just need to know where to look. UNITY!!! I need to talk about unity. If the whole theory that "THE UNIVERSE IMPLIES THE ORGANISM, AND EACH ORGANISM IMPLIES THE UNIVERSE," is true then this creek is amazing. One little thing could stop this water from running and cause everything to die out. One little thing. Then I guess this creek is unified. If it were not it could notof survived. One piece of it could of disagreed with something, the weather, temperature, animals building, the construction and destroyed the whole thing. That is pretty amazing. One tree could of fallen and bloked the water off, killing off all the fish and plants, causing the birds and animals to move and becoming a parking lot or something. Anyways, I am going to draw now.
