This is a tentative schedule, and it will likely change over the course of the semester--consider it a rough draft that we'll be revising. I will not print out changes to this syllabus, though I will try to tell you about them in class. It's your job to visit this page each week to check assignments.

T 1/27 Discuss reading; basic intro to Dreamweaver (text, font, links, descriptive and file names, images) and webspace: create a webfolio page with a link to your first reading notes and upload; discuss questions about cyber-subculture assignment HCE Ch 4-5 Send your webfolio URL to me. Start looking for a virtual community to investigate. Reading Notes.
TH 1/29 Discuss reading; set webfolio permissions; time to search for VC community; sign up for individual presentations HCE: Ch 6-7 Reading Notes ; keep searching for a VC
T 2/3 Discuss reading and first S/R paper; make sure your name is on the student webfolio list; share VCs with each other. First individual presentations. HCE: Ch 8-9 join your VC and share your choice to the wiki; Reading Notes
TH 2/5 Discuss reading; S/R questions; CWRL password setup; Individual presentations (3) HCE: Ch 10-11 + Epilogue write S/R paper #1; if you haven't already, post your VC to the wiki (Bring an electronic copy of your S/R paper to class.)
