I have long held the belief that we ought to allow Texas to secede as various members of the state seem to be forever suggesting, but Matthew Yglesias has a different modest proposal on his site. As a hint, it reminds me one of my favorite Robin Williams moments when, during the whole "pledge of allegiance" bruhaha, Williams said that we should just change the words to "One nation, under Canada" and be done with it.
