Course Feedback
Because you are all coming into this class from a wide variety of backgrounds - from folks who are very knowledgeable about Native American Studies to folks who've really never thought about it before - I would like to know how the class is working for each of you.
On Tuesday, please turn in your feedback. There is no length requirement (you need to turn in a piece fo paper, but if you have nothing to say, just print that on the paper and turn it in), and this is not graded; in fact, if you prefer, you can keep your comments anonymous.
What should you say? Well, here are some questions to start you off:
* What have you liked about the class so far? What have you disliked?
* What has been useful?
* What interests you? What doesn't?
* What upcoming work or discussions are you worried about? How could those worries
be addressed?
* What questions do you have that you haven't yet asked or that haven't been
answered in class?
* What would you like to do/discuss that we haven't gotten to yet?
You don't need to answer all these questions - these are just to get
you started on thinking about your feedback.
Please take this assignment seriously. I take student feedback seriously - after all, you guys are the reason this class exists in the first place. This is your chance to help make sure that this course is going to address your questions, needs, and interests.
