AIR Competition

The AIR-UT, The University Challenge Accessibility Internet Rally for the University of Texas at Austin, will occur on October 5. From the site:

"AIR-UT, the University Challenge is a unique program at the University of Texas to educate campus webmasters about the need, the tools, and the benefits of creating online information that is fully accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. The program is delivered in the context of a fun, friendly competition through which the participants can win prizes and recognition for their work. It is produced in conjunction with the community-wide annual AIR-Austin competition, now in its fourth year. AIR-Austin engages Web professionals in a day of pro bono accessible Web development for community groups and has been nationally recognized for excellence and innovation."
