student work

Here are some ARCHIVED web sites from courses I've taught in the Computer Writing and Research Labs computer-assisted classrooms. The CWRL has four classrooms, three support labs, and one multimedia lab. The first two classes listed were taught in networked PowerMac Classrooms using DIWE, Internet Software, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere, Macromedia Director, and Macromedia SoundEdit Pro.

American Lit

This is a course from 1997 and I thoroughly enjoyed teaching it. A complete and detailed syllabus is included on this site, as well as forums and discussions about the reading. Some samples from the CD-ROM designed by the class are here as well.

This class focused on Internet-related issues. There were some talented students in this class and if you're interested, check out their web sites. The class redesigned this web site.
Spring 1996 E309M Computers and Writing Course

cyberpunk

This class has been featured in several books about SF Internet sites. My students did some great project work, though be warned, the site can be image-intensive. The class redesigned this web site.

Please remember that these are projects done in the early days of the WWW. There are no flashy images or backgrounds, but the content is still sound (for a freshman-level course).
