Rhetorical Analysis PaperRHE306ca 41880Instructor, Melanie R. Ulrich Fall, 2001 |
This site contains all the information that you need to complete your Rhetorical Analysis Paper for RHE306ca.
The instructions are at mymodel.htm. Follow the given structure to write your own paper (rough drafts due 3 Oct.).
You may want to look at my rough sample paper for a clearer idea of what I want your papers to be like.
This site contains 2 sample rhetorical analysis papers from other classes: Saturn ad and YM ads. They do not precisely follow the structure I have laid out (in particular, the analysis and evaluation sections of their papers are combined), but they give you a few more models for analysis. Note that both deal with lines of argument at length. Neither, however, covers logical fallacies or reasons to argue, both of which should be components of your paper. In addition, notice how they construct their thesis statements. The Saturn essay is a particularly good model for a thesis statement.
Finally, the instructions for the Prospectus (due 26 Sept.), which must be submitted to me, are also included.
